Do you sometimes find yourself at a loss in front of the coffee shelf in the supermarket? We'll give you a few tips here so that you don't lose track of your next purchase!

Step 1 - Select coffee roast level

The degree of roasting should match your coffee preparation. For which preparation method do you want to order coffee beans? For each of our coffees, we have noted which type of preparation each variety is suitable for. This makes the selection even easier for you. Basically:

  • Light roasts for filter coffee and French press
  • Medium roasts for Bialetti, mild cappuccinos and fruity espressos
  • Dark roasts for traditional, chocolaty-nutty espressos and strong, bitter coffees.

Step 2 - Choose flavor and strength

As we all know, tastes are different. The selection ranges from fruity, berry to nutty to chocolatey. The flavors are diverse and we recommend that you try them out to develop your taste. We tell you the strength and different flavors on our packaging.

  • Robusta blends for powerful caffeine bombs with lots of body and texture that are reminiscent of a vacation in Italy
  • Single origin Arabicas for sweet, more complex cups with a light body

Do you have any further questions about order coffee?

Buying coffee seems harder than it is! The best coffee depends on your preparation method and your taste. Here is a brief overview:

  • Light roasts for filter coffee and French press
  • Medium roasts for Bialetti, mild cappuccinos and fruity espressos
  • Dark roasts for traditional, chocolaty-nutty espressos and strong, bitter coffees.
  • Robusta blends for powerful caffeine bombs with lots of body and texture that are reminiscent of a vacation in Italy
  • Pure Arabicas for sweet, more complex cups with a light body

Depending on how you like to drink your espresso, you can buy the bean to suit:

  • Dark roasts for traditional, chocolaty-nutty espressos. Robusta content for a strong, Italian taste with lots of crema.
  • Medium roasts for fruity, balanced and acidic espressos

Filter coffees such as French Press, V60 or Melita are light, tea-like coffee drinks. Use light-roasted, single-origin Arabicas for a floral, light drink with little roasted aromas. If you like a little more chocolaty roasted flavor in your filter coffee, you can also buy a medium roasted coffee.

The cheapest option is home-brewed coffee, such as that from a French press or Aeropress. Use freshly ground beans and you’ll have really tasty coffee on a budget!
